A North Bay police traffic stop resulted in the seizure of more than $119,000 worth of illegal narcotics and drug trafficking charges against three men.

On March 21 around 10 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on Fifth Avenue of a vehicle.

Open containers of alcohol were seen in the vehicle, police said.

A search of the vehicle revealed a quantity of Canadian currency and a significant quantity of illegal narcotics.

Police seized approximately 183 grams of suspected fentanyl, 224 grams of suspected cocaine and $3,125 in Canadian currency

The estimated street value of the drugs is approximately $119,737.

Justin Robert Hughes, 22, of North Bay, is charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking

Feisal Jibril, 21, of Toronto, is charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and non- compliance with a release order.

Isaiah Robert Ouimette, 22, of North Bay, is charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, failure to comply with a release order and failure to comply with a probation order.

The defendants are in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay courthouse.
