P2M illegal drugs seized in Bulacan


BULACAN: An estimated 2 million pesos worth of illegal drugs were seized and 332 offenders were arrested by police authorities during the week-long simultaneous anti-crime law enforcement (Sacleo) operations in this province.

In a report submitted by Col. Charlie Cabradilla, Acting Director of Bulacan Provincial Police Office to Regional Director of Regional Police Office 3, BGen. Mathew Baccay, the Sacleo was held from July 11 to 17, 2022.

Cabradilla said 109 people were arrested in a series of anti-drug operations carried out by the various anti-drug units at the PNP Bulacan station.

More than 300 packets of alleged shabu, 26 packets of dried marijuana leaves with an estimated value of P2,081,533.60, various drug paraphernalia and redemption money were seized from the suspects during a series of drug traps.

Meanwhile, four criminals were arrested during the implementation of the search warrant operations as well as 99 persons wanted by law, some of whom are on the most wanted list. They were captured by the teams of trackers from different municipal and municipal police stations in Bulacan.

Likewise, 106 illegal gamblers were arrested after being caught playing tong-its, pusoy, betting game, billiards, cara y cruz, mah-jong and STL bookmakers.

An assortment of gambling paraphernalia and betting money of various denominations was confiscated.
