Guns, bullets and over P480K of illegal drugs seized in Bulacan – Manila Bulletin


Several firearms, ammunition and more than 480,000 pesos worth of illegal drugs were seized by Bulacan police during the fourth day of the Simultaneous Anti-Crime Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) in the province on Thursday July 14.

Bulacan PNP acting director Col. Charlie A. Cabradilla said the execution of a search warrant by San Ildefonso police led to the arrest of the suspect, Nicomedez Villanueva, and the recovery of several firearms and ammunition at his residence in Sitio Luwasan, Brgy. Aklé, San Ildefonso.

One 9mm pistol, two magazines, 15 live ammunition for 9mm firearm, one 12 gauge shotgun with six live ammunition, eight live ammunition for .45 caliber pistol, 120 live ammunition and five long magazines in 5.56 caliber steel were seized in Villanueva. rifle, one plastic short magazine for 5.56 caliber rifle, six live ammunition for 7.60 caliber, one .45 rifle with long steel magazine and one long steel magazine for 9mm rifle.

Police also executed a search warrant at the home of suspect Joseph Revillo

at Purok Maligaya, Barangay San Jose, San Miguel Bulacan, which led to the recovery of a .38 caliber revolver loaded with five live ammunition.

Appropriate criminal charges have been filed against said suspects.

Meanwhile, some 250,000 shabu pesos were confiscated by police from drug figures during a buyout in Barangay Tibag, Pulilan.

In a separate operation, police recovered 180,000 pesos worth of suspected marijuana from the three drug suspects arrested at Barangay Sto. Cristo, town of San Jose del Monte.

Operations in the town of Malolos and the towns of Marilao and San Rafael resulted in the seizure of 50,880 pesos worth of illegal drugs and the arrest of 11 drug traffickers.
