Mohawk arrested for selling illegal drugs and operating a drug store


MOHAWK, Mich. (WLUC) – Detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) and the Keweenaw County Sheriff’s Department arrested Scott Pacetti, 48, on a 14-count count warrant for sale of illegal drugs in Keweenaw County on February 3.

The charges include delivering cocaine, delivering morphine, and delivering heroin, all of which are 20-year felonies. Pacetti was also charged with possession of methamphetamine, felony 10 years, possession with intent to deliver MDMA, felony 20 years, as well as maintaining a drugstore.

Over the past year, UPSET detectives have made numerous undercover drug purchases in Pacetti, leading to the execution of a search warrant at an address at 5 Rd in Mohawk on the 24th January.

During the search, detectives seized other illegal drugs, a pistol, digital scales, numerous electronic devices and other drug paraphernalia. Detectives also seized an illegal butane THC extraction lab in the basement of the residence.

Pacetti was arraigned in the 97th District Court and bail was set at $5,000. The case is being handled by the Keweenaw County District Attorney’s Office.

UPSET was assisted by the Keweenaw County Sheriff, Houghton County Sheriff, MSP-Calumet Post and the MSP-Hometown Security Team.
