KENLY — An undercover investigation by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division has resulted in the arrest of three Kenly area residents.
Gary Allen Dawson, 53; Jack Ryan Dawson, 20; and Faith Lynn Johnson, 22, of 342 Pollock Road, Kenly, were arrested on April 1 by narcotics officers after executing a search warrant at the home.
Investigators allege that illegal narcotics were sold and distributed from the address. During the search warrant, approximately two pounds of marijuana, hydrocodone, oxycodone, drug paraphernalia and a large undisclosed sum of cash were seized.
Jack Dawson was arrested on 54 counts including trafficking in opium or heroin, selling a controlled substance, delivering a controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a controlled substance and maintenance of a vehicle or accommodation for a controlled substance. He was held in Johnston County Jail on $2,325,000 bond.
Faith Johnson was arrested on 12 felony warrants, including trafficking opium or heroin, selling a controlled substance, delivering a controlled substance, and servicing a vehicle or housing for a controlled substance. Bail was set at $300,000.
Gary Dawson was arrested on felony charges of maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance and felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a controlled substance. He was jailed on $100,000 bail.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office said the arrests were made following a two-month investigation.
