Four charged after OPP seize illegal drugs in Renfrew

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) seized illegal drugs in Renfrew.

On March 9, members of the Street Crime Unit, assisted by the Ontario Provincial Police Emergency Response Team (ERT), the OPP canine unit and the Renfrew Ontario Provincial Police executed a search warrant at a residence on Ross Street.

Police seized an alleged amount of methamphetamine, fentanyl and cocaine, along with cell phones and other items associated with drug trafficking.

Tyler Moore, 40, of Renfrew, has been charged with:

  • possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine (two counts)
  • possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
  • possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Opioids
  • possession of a Schedule I substance – opioid
  • possession of a schedule I substance – methamphetamine
  • possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 (two counts)
  • possession of cannabis for the purpose of sale x 2

The accused remains in custody and is due to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew for a bail hearing on March 17.

Rhonda Moore, 57, of Renfrew, has been charged with:

  • possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
  • possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
  • possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Opioids
  • possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling it (two counts)

The accused was held for a bail hearing and released on the order of a justice of the peace. The accused is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew on April 6.

Tyler Bertrand, 34, of Ottawa, has been charged with:

  • possession of a Schedule 1 substance – opioids

The accused was released on a promise and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew on April 20.

Jessica Beaudoin, 33, of Campbell’s Bay, Quebec. was charged with:

  • possession of a Schedule 1 substance – Fentanyl

The accused was released on a promise and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew on April 20.
