Boiling Spring Lakes search warrant leads to illegal drugs, guns and cash

BOILING SPRING LAKES, NC (WWAY) – On Friday, April 8, 2022, the Boiling Spring Lakes Police Department, in conjunction with the Oak Island Police Department, executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Oakdale Drive in Boiling Spring Lakes after a thorough investigation in reference to reports of possible narcotics distribution.

During the execution of the search warrant, various items were seized including a large quantity of Suboxone, a stolen firearm and over $7,000 in US currency.

Three individuals have been charged.

John William Faulk, Jr has been charged with:

-Criminal possession of methamphetamine
– Offense of possession of drug paraphernalia
– Offense Simple Possession of Schedule III Controlled Substance

Sheila H. Bass has been charged with:

– Criminal possession of a stolen firearm
-Criminal possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a Schedule II controlled substance
-Felony Maintaining a controlled substance vehicle/accommodation/place of sale
-Criminal Possession of Property/Stolen Property
– Offense of possession of drug paraphernalia

Jimmy Ed Harper has been charged with:

-Criminal possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a Schedule II controlled substance
– Criminal possession of a stolen firearm
-Felony Maintaining a controlled substance vehicle/accommodation/place of sale
– Offense of possession of drug paraphernalia

John William Faulk, Jr. and Jimmy Ed Harper received guaranteed bail of $5,000. Sheila H. Bass received a
Secured bond of $5,500.
